Performance - Everywhere

For spot cooling in almost any situation, new ExtraCoolers© are available in a full-line of voltages. The 115-volt models are the most powerful of this voltage available on the market today, capable of generating up to a powerful 24,000 Btu/hr., using existing electrical outlets (other manufacturer's 115-volt units are limited to about 12,000 Btu/hr.). Other ExtraCooler models feature even larger capacity systems. Some units, including severe-duty units used in hostile environments, are designed so that the voltage may be changed from 208/230/3 to 460/3 in the field. The innovative design of the ExtraCooler severe-duty portable units includes high efficiency scroll compressors and consolidated condenser air intake and exhaust.

Portability

The portable ExtraCoolers can also quickly be disconnected and relocated without altering the building or tearing out the ceiling. The ExtraCooler accessories include complete installation kits which make use of standard ceiling, window, wall, bay door or roof openings. Standard features include aluminum fin copper tubing heat exchangers, a high-quality 18-gauge powder-coated finish, sturdy cabinet design with grab handles for ease of movement, 24-volt digital thermostat for optional wall mounting, and a vacuum-formed condensate container with electronic shut-off (if a plumbing hookup is available, clients may order the pump accessory). Units may be controlled by the building's energy management system, via a local network or the Internet.
